Sissy Reyes is a Mexican-Australian award-winning filmmaker and storyteller. For the past 13 years, she has been living in Australia working in film, broadcast, documentary, corporate, and video art.  Sissy is incredibly collaborative and hard-working, always focused on how to best tell the story at hand.

For her most recent work, Sissy has shot and edited various documentary features for SBS The Feed and Dateline, taking a creative lead in the visual storytelling process and closely collaborating with journalists and executive producers to deliver engaging stories with impact.

Sissy recently won a prestigious Walkley Award, as well as an ACS Gold Award and a Kennedy Award for her work in Vanished: The unsolved cases of first nations women."

Sissy loves an international film festival binge and a long-winded de-brief afterward. She has an ear for a good story and an eye for the best way to tell it, and she's always keen for a coffee and a chat.
